You don’t have to go to the supermarket to start preparing these remedies for yourself, you can start right away just by going to the kitchen and getting some of these ingredients. So let’s start out with some easy to prepare masks for your dry damaged hair.
The Banana Hair Mask
This mask works well for those who have thin hair, and the problem of thin hair is that women and men that reach and elderly age have double possibilities of hair lost. As we already know bananas contains Potassium, which is essential for the capillary care. The Potassium is the third most abundant component in our whole body, which keeps the health not only of our joints and muscles but also of our hair. This component strengthens the capillarity of our hair and fixes our damaged hair.
What do we need?
* A ripe banana
* A tablespoon of honey
(Do this before bathing as preference)
a) Crush the banana using a blender and add the honey or do it by yourself but make sure it is very smooth before applying (otherwise you will have problems when removing it).
b) Apply to your hair the resulting mixture, as it was a hair cream product.
c) Envelop your hair using a shower cap and wait 20 minutes.
d) Wash out your hair removing the mixture in the shower and apply shampoo or conditioner as usual.
Avocado/Egg Hair Mask
Ok so, everybody knows that we can make facial masks with avocado to hydrate our skin, but it also has a great effect on our hair and this is because the avocado possesses a bunch of nutrients and minerals. Besides these components the avocado also possess a creamy consistency, which is a good thing since it allows you to mix it with other ingredients that can cause a better effect when applying to our hair.
We know that the egg is rich in protein and that it is essential for the muscle growth but also because of the protein it acts directly to the pilous follicle to strengthen it. To the mask we are going to add olive oil, which is rich in Vitamin E and hydrates our hair. The Vitamin E is a great supplement for hair caring because it repairs dry hair and makes your hair look shiny.
What do we need?
* An avocado previously crushed
* An egg yolk
* An olive oil spoon
a) Put the avocado in a bag and add the egg yolk and the olive oil. Mix strongly.
b) Wet your hair with warm water and use your fingertips to massage your scalp (massage for about some 30 seconds before applying the mixture)
c) Spread the mixture around your scalp and massage it from the top to the bottom (so it will be easier for the avocado to penetrate in your scalp).
d) Wrap your hair using a shower cap and wait 20 minutes.
e) Wash your hair removing the avocado mixture in the shower and apply shampoo or conditioner as usual.
Milk and Honey Hair Mask
This remedy is great for those who have mistreated their hair from using a bunch of a heavy conditioners or oil treatments. We know that the milk is essential for the bones health because of the Calcium but also it gives your hair the care it deserves. The milk helps your hair not to have that unwanted “frizz”. What do we need?
* 2 cups of whole milk
* 2 teaspoons of honey
a) Warm up a little bit the milk but not too much.
b) Add the 2 teaspoons of honey to the milk and stir up until it is dissolved.
c) Spread the milk mixture in your hair and scalp and massage it with your fingertips.
d) Wash your hair and the remove the mixture in the bathroom and apply shampoo or conditioner as usual.
